Hi Kristen – I’m from Texas (Flat, just north of Dallas), and I believe ”Howdy, ya’ll” is a universal greeting that needs no translation. lol, j / k. =)
I wanted to take just a moment to personally thank you for joining Mojofiti – We’re really glad you’re here. As you explore the network and make new connections, please let me know if you have any questions, stumbling blocks, or even ideas to improve Mojofiti – that’s what I’m here for, and I’m all ears.

And what fun it was to watch. Congratulations to Johnny Baker and the entire field of Kobuk 440 Mushers.

The 2010 Taiga 300 has come to an end, and seemingly without a hitch. Congratulations to all eighteen mushers who attempted this year’s trail!
The top finishers were:
First – Wade Marrs; 2nd – Karin Hendrickson; 3rd – Ava Lindner; 4th – Jim Lanier; 5th – Zoya DeNure; 6th – Travis Beales.
Nicely done!

Wade Marrs finished the race today at 4:37 p.m. Alaska time. Congratulations to Wade and his team of ten dogs! Karin Hendrickson followed just under an hour later, with eleven dogs.
These are the first and only two mushers into Wolverine Lodge at the moment… Travis Beales, Zoya DeNure and Ava Lindner should be close behind.

the standings remain somewhat the same: Wade, Travis, Karin H., Zoya…
Jim Lanier is still 7th–although from first place, all are within two hours of one another.
In mushing terms: ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN! Seems to be a mad dash to the finish!
Fellow Homer-roid, Jason Cameron, scratched due to his concern over one of his main dogs (Pauly). [...]
