SEEING THE BULLS FROM THE BARRIER
May 29th, 2010
This was written by an amazing and caring person who traveled with us to Haiti from Costa Rica…

“It’s funny how life works. Every day you wake up, read the newspaper or watch the news, see all the stories about children and hunger in the world, feel pity for 10 minutes, and then get back to your usual life.
At least that is what use to happen to me, until people of LifeGivingForce opened my eyes.
They showed me how easy is to make the difference.
We have heard about the phrase so many times, MAKE THE DIFFRENCE, that it doesn’t even bother us.
We watch people on TV that are really making a difference helping in Haiti, and think, that’s nice, how great, poor people, and THAT’S IT.
Maybe because going to Haiti is not for everybody, or we think that’s only the job for foundations or nonprofit organizations.
Maybe this will make you realize HOW EASY it is for us to change our attitude towards the problem.
If you donate the same amount you spend in cups of coffee in a week, you could give FOOD TO 20 KIDS FOR 7 DAYS.
Instead of having that meal at McDonalds, you could give 7 KIDS SHOES FOR A YEAR.
Dinning out equals to MEDICINE FOR A VILLAGE
I’m not saying stop your life, don’t eat out, os stop drinking coffee. I’m just saying realize HOW EASY it is to HELP.
I use to think that donating was a waste of time, that there are other people doing it, that donations were worthless because $ 5 doesn’t make a difference, but I WAS WRONG.
$5 is all the difference in the world for the ones that don’t have it.
Videos, pictures, stories, we have heard all of that, but have you thought what would you do, if those stories where happening to you………………………..I guess not.
Thankfully most of us reading this are not in that situation, and the way of thanking life and God for this is CARYING,……….. that’s it, ………HELPING, ………as easy as that, ……….DONATING.
Believe me I’m amazed myself that I’m witting this, I used to think like you, why help?…… others will, and that’s NOT TRUE.
Please CARE; HELP; DONATE; it will really make a difference.
And this time, don’t do what we always do,……think of this for 10 minutes and then forget and continue with your life, this time, STOP SEEING THE BULLS FROM THE BARRIER AND GET INVOLVED, DONATE
ISN’T IT AMAZING HOW LIFE WORKS.”
For all of us at LGF – Thanks Luis, you inspire us all to be better!
Changing lives in Haiti and the U.S.
May 5th, 2010
We experienced the joy of bringing love and clean water to the people of Haiti making a dramatic difference immediately. In under eight days we covered thousands of miles delivering clean water solutions that incorporate the most up to date renewable technology and have zero impact on the environment. We had the distinct pleasure of working with Father Luke in Marigot, Haiti and install a water purification system to support a school of 350 children, thanks to Providence Haiti Christian Network. We continued to work throughout the trip setting up our rapidly deployable gear in small villages and camps cleaning the water.
Les Cayes and Cambry gave us the gift of joining the orphans and bring smiles, hugs, and their first birthday party. We were very happy to be part of such an amazing event! The commitment is strong, the vision of creating micro-enterprise projects and supplying other organizations with clean water solutions is ever present, and the love for a nation recovering from the earthquake will never cease!

If you want to make a difference or join us on our next trip to Haiti in June or July, please contact us immediately at info@lifegivingforce.org
Saving Lives in Haiti – Don’t forget!
April 8th, 2010
Jamieson Slough, COO of LifeGivingForce LLC, arrived in Haiti late Friday night on a plane filled with over 100 relief workers. He grabbed a few hours of much needed sleep on the floor at the New Faith Orphanage near PAP airport and proceeded directly to Sean Penn/82nd Airborne’s IDP camp in Petionville where he delivered one of the 4 donated solar powered portable suitcase units. He then traveled to Jacmel to deliver another unit to ACDI/VOCA for deployment in their IDP camp in Cotes de Ver. From there he traveled to Les Cayes to check out the Cambry Tech Center which is owned and operated by LGF’s President, Shane Hackett and spent the day purifying a tank full of water at the orphanage where the Tech Center is based. The kids at the center went nuts over the unit, understanding full well the importance clean water plays in their precious lives. Jamieson then made the long haul back to PAP on grid locked roads covered in rubble and rubbish to deliver the last 2 units to Clinton Foundation/Partners in Health. PIH have kindly agreed to house one on of the units at their offices until a representative from H.O.P.E Haiti can make it down from Borgne to pick it up for use in the AFB Hospital. Jamieson trained representatives of each of the groups in how to operate this easy to use, state-of-the-art water purification unit. Everyone who eyeballed the system was blown away by the technology. To read more, visit Jamieson’s Journal which we are updating on a daily basis.
The LGF Solar H2O units are essentially miniature water treatment plants. The filtration mechanism physically removes particulate and bacteriological contaminants, while chemical disinfection neutralizes any remaining pathogens and ensures the treated water is safe to drink. This method is very effective, and, when operated properly, the LGF Solar H2O will provide a community with safe, good tasting drinking water for many years.
LGF SOLAR H2O Features:

• Portable suitcase unit with rollers
• Weight: Approx 100 lbs
• 10 cubic feet – 32 w x 28 L x 18 deep inches
• 24 Volt DC powered through solar panels, batteries, or gravity fed
• Three staged ultra filtration and flavoring creating clean water from raw water sources including rivers, streams, lakes, ponds and wells (not salt water)
• Filters 2,500+ gpd at a rate of 1.7 gallons per minute.
• Potable drinking water – bacteria, virus, cyst and pathogen free.(medical grade)
• Heavy duty and ruggedized for use in the field.
• 10 minute set up with single on/off switch.
• Pump is the only moving part.
• Provides clean water for 7,500+ people per day.
Replacement Schedule:
The LGF Solar H2O system must be serviced (manual back flush feature integrated) on a regular basis to maintain efficiency and to safeguard water quality. Each system is equipped with a NanoCeram pre-filter, twin-wall UF membrane, and a Carbon block post-filter. These cartridges work together to remove potential contaminants from the water source and must be replaced at regular intervals. The chart below gives a general placement timetable and part numbers.
Critical Need for Water in Haiti
February 16th, 2010
In order to save lives at this critical juncture, please help us get more water purification units powered solely by the sun, to Haiti, to where they are needed most. Access to clean water is the most urgent need right now. The need for clean water in Haiti has not diminished, quite the opposite.
LifeGivingForce’s goal is to aid NGOs and community groups on the ground in Haiti that have a dire need for clean water. Currently there are requests for over 130 units from various NGOs in Haiti. You can make a difference and purchase units for respective NGOs on the ground.
Suitcase Size Solar Powered Water Purification Unit

Essentially, a miniature water treatment plant in a suitcase, the 2500-UF filters over two-thousand five hundred gallons of water a day at a rate of 1.7 gallons per minute. The portable suitcase unit can treat 1.7 gallons of water per minute from raw water sources such as rivers, lakes, springs, ponds, or wells providing the daily water needs of up to 7,500+ people on a daily basis. Three stages with excellent ultra filtration and flavoring. Potable drinking water- bacteria, virus cyst and pathogen free (medical grade). 24 Volt DC powered through solar panels, US MIL NATO plug, AC to DC transformer or car batteries. Heavy duty and ruggedized for use in the field. Easy to use. 10 minute set up with single on/off switch. Pumps are the only moving parts. Annual consumable parts. Life Giving Force Provides Critical Aid to the Children of Haiti
January 13th, 2010
Life Giving Force is responding to the devastation in Haiti by providing necessary funds and support to The Global Orphan Project a US-based organization that has been providing much needed care and shelter for orphans in Haiti for over 6 years. As their partner, Life Giving Force was one of the first organizations to relay important situational awareness regarding the country through the Cambry Tech Center in Les Cayes, a Life Giving Force Center that supports orphans, commerce, and local development.
Live videos streamed from the Cambry Tech Center updating CNN, CNBC, AP, FOX, and the BBC. Millions of people are watching the devastation of Haiti and destruction of Port-au-Prince through the eyes of Life Giving Force.
In response to this catastrophic event, Life Giving Force is organizing companies and individuals to send aid through donations, equipment, water, clothing, and food to support the orphans. Currently Life Giving Force supports 300 orphans in Port-au-Prince, 2,000 in Les Cayes, and many others throughout Haiti. Unfortunately, we expect the number of children needing shelter and care to rise as a result of the devastation. 100% of all donations will go directly to care for the orphans!
How can you get involved? Immediate donations are being accepted online at The Global Orphan Project. 100% of money donated goes directly to The Global Orphan Project’s relief efforts on the ground. Currently team members from The Global Orphan Project are ferrying essential supplies from the Dominican Republic to Haiti via car and delivering these supplies directly to those most in need. Companies can follow the lead of our partners and dedicate a certain percentage of their profits to help with urgent care for the orphans immediately and in the rebuilding of sustainable solutions in Haiti through Life Giving Force and our partners in the longer term.
Life Giving Force’s urgent response is crucial for the children’s welfare right now, hence your immediate response is crucial. As a long-term solution for sustainable solutions in the country, we urge individuals and companies to get involved through Life Giving Force.
Who we are
Life Giving Force – Mission Statement
Our initiative is a labor of compassion, wisdom, love and action. To inspire and empower the most impoverish people of the world, we are committed to improving the overall quality of their lives so they can realize their fullest potential.
Our mission is simple: to save children’s’ lives and help the poorest of the poor.
Utilizing an emerging and comprehensive methodology, we seek to become strategic intermediaries to effectively translate and transmit wisdom from cultures or communities to others, by engaging and co-creating with a dynamic and increasingly global network of businesses. We believe this will lead to developing communities that inspire the children to become leaders and communicate and share with others around the globe.
We are co-evolving to a new age, one based on new integrative principles, worldviews, and business models where the nature of the game has changed – a game that opens its doors to the world, co-innovates with all, shares resources that were previously closely guarded, harnesses the power of mass collaboration, and behaves not as a multinational, but as something new: a truly global integral organization.
LifeGivingForce will not only think globally, but act globally as well. We are a non-denominational, all inclusive, collaborative integration platform for practical and enduring positive social change. Our ideals consist of openness, peering and cooperation through transparency. We aim to harness human skill, ingenuity, and intelligence more efficiently and effectively, to give the gift of opportunity to the poorest of the poor and orphans.
The end result is opportunity for the poorest of the poor and children of the world.
An extended hand.
January 7th, 2010
Gun shots rang throughout the village as people scattered. Soldiers fired on innocent victims, killing at will in cold blood. A little twelve year old girl uses all of her energy to avoid the killers, yet looks hopelessly at her father, struck dead in the middle of the street.
Her mother and brother are no where to be found. She is all alone.
The soldiers are closing in and the gunshots ring louder and louder. Filled with fear, she jumps into an open pit of bodies and lays still. More bodies are tossed into the pit on top of her, but she remained still. Soldiers sprayed the bodies in the pit with bullets, but she remained safe.
Bodies on top of bodies, hundreds of souls eliminated. It was the Korean War.
She maintained perfect stillness, although the weight of the bodies prohibited her movement. Hours went by, the sun set and rose again. She struggled to free herself only to realize her tomb would be the people of her village on top of her.
Then out of the heavens, a hand reached down and pulled the bodies off her. Rising out of her tomb, she was lead to safety with a surviving family.
She was now an orphan, joining millions of other children in the world without fathers and mothers. Traveling South, she snuck into an orphanage for survival. There she lived, grew, and began life all over again.
One extended hand, one act of courage, one life.
Out of one life, amazing creation happens.
Today 30,000 children under the age of five will die from preventable diseases. 30,000!
We are LifeGivingForce, and it is our calling to save the orphans and provide that extended hand.
This story is about Sung Cho’s mother. Sung is committed to extending the hand through LifeGivingForce.
