Mojofiti’s Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect personal information, and how we use and disclose any such personal information. “Personal information,” as used in this Privacy Policy, is information that allows a person to directly identify another individual.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to Mojofiti’s Terms of Service. How the Mojofiti Platform Operates

Mojofiti provides an online platform that enables a registered User to communicate with other Users through the posting of photographs and personal information (“user content”). The Information We Collect

Mojofiti may provide your personal information to third party advertisers or trusted third party service providers who help us facilitate some of the regular features and Premium Services we offer, including our Premium Translation Services. We share your personal information with these third parties only to the extent necessary, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring that such third parties maintain the privacy and security of your data.

Finally, we will disclose information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish and exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We may disclose information that we believe is necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected illegal activities or fraud, situations involving the physical safety of any person, violations of Mojofiti’s Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by Applicable Law.

Mojofiti services may be linked to internet sites operated by other companies. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorization, or representation of our affiliation with that third party. We do not exercise control over third party websites. Mojofiti is not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites or other services operated by third parties that are linked to or integrated with Mojofiti services. Once you leave Mojofiti via a link or by accessing a third party application such as a widget, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party to determine how they will handle any personal information they receive from you.

Third Party Advertising

Advertisements that appear on Mojofiti are sometimes delivered directly to Users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies on to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and “web beacons” or “1×1 gifs” to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Doing this allows the advertising network to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Security

Mojofiti Users should be aware that they post user content at their own risk. Mojofiti uses industry standard security measures to protect against loss, misuse, and alteration of Mojofiti members’ personal information. In doing so, we make good faith efforts to maintain the security of all personal information gathered from Users. Mojofiti Users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. The information will be deleted immediately. Individuals who wish to deactivate their account may do so using the “delete account” function under the “settings” tab of the “my account” menu.

Change of Ownership/Affiliates

In the event of a change in ownership, or a merger with, acquisition by, or sale of assets, to another entity, we reserve the right to transfer all of your personal information, including your email address, to that entity. Mojofiti will use reasonable efforts to notify registered Users of such a transfer, such as through notification by email or posting information on our homepage, at our discretion.

Although Mojofiti does not currently have a parent company or any subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that it controls or is under common control with (collectively, “affiliates”), it may in the future. Mojofiti may share some or all of your personal information with its affiliates, in which case we will seek to require that those affiliates honor this Privacy Policy.

Children

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) protects the online privacy of children less than thirteen years of age. Mojofiti does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of thirteen or allow such persons to register. If you are under thirteen years of age, please do not attempt to register on our website. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information, he or she should contact us using the “report abuse” link found on any Mojofitian’s page of our site to have the child’s account deleted. If we become aware that a child under the age of thirteen has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.
