If you know what I’m talking about, then the thought process behind switching to Apple software may be a shorter jump than it used to be.
The audio guru’s at Singular Software are making multiple camera or recording device system transfers and sync a snap for FCP and Sony. Check out plural eyes.
I know that with the right gear and the right version of ProTools you can do very similar things, but this is still phenomenal software dev.

As an audio engineer that works on post production audio for film, video and multimedia a lot, I’ve noticed some things which continually touch a nerve. I’d like to present that nerve. It’s the “If you’re going to do it, do it right-nerve.” *If you’re going to have a home theater set it up correctly. *If you’re going to work on surround sound, do it right. *Timecode on your videos from FCP. *Make sure your final file for delivery is in sync after creating it.
